Mark in a nutshell.
Greetings fellow spiritual beings.
My name is Mark S. DeRosa and I live in West Hollywood, California.
I am much like you all. I have traveled a path of mistakes and successes. I am brutally honest and, at times, rather hard on myself. My life is an open book with many completed and some unwritten chapters. I speak through journals and blogs as though I were telling whomever is reading a recipe to living through solution… but the plain truth is that the process is to speak to myself.
I’m young. The body gets older but the mind does not. At least not yet. I am a recovering alcoholic and drug addict, a journey that began (this time around) on May 23, 1991. I do my best to treat each day like I am in a classroom. Let’s face it… some classes are required and others are elective, right?
Honestly? When I am writing in the blog I am either persuading myself into something or steering myself away. I see the world filled with problems and although I know it is not an answer to simply avoid… it is to concentrate on the solutions the better percentage of time.
